ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
Helping others is one of the best things each one of us can do to promote brotherhood and make the world at large a more positive and loving place now and for future generations. By using the real estate referral services of FundraisingRealEstate.org, or by referring someone else to our services, you will generate a donation to financially benefit the Worthy Cause of your choice, which could be a humanitarian relief group, an organization helping the environment, or a cultural, religious or social organization — any cause which you deem as worthy (See the four exceptions).
The Four Exceptions
FundraisingRealEstate.org chooses not to knowingly give donations to the following:
- Political Causes
- Illegal or Terrorist Activities
- Immoral Activities (as defined by us). If you are uncertain about your Worthy Cause, be sure to pass your Cause by us prior to using our services.
- To the person(s) that direct our donations, be they the persons buying or selling the real estate or those that referred others to us. This also applies to their immediate or extended family members or personally owned businesses. Our desire is to not just pay people for using our programs but to support legitimate Worthy Causes. That said, a person could have some indirect benefit. For example, if parents chose to designate a school program to buy uniforms or pay travel costs for a band or sports team in which their child participated, that would be fine. However, we will not write a check directly to either the person(s) buying or selling the real estate or to a person who referred someone to us.
Note: We reserve the right to refuse doing business with anyone, at our discretion.

The Worthy Cause of your choosing does not have to be a nonprofit organization. It could even be an individual or family whom you know is in need of medical or financial assistance.
However, for help in identifying a CHARITABLE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION which you would like to designate as your Worthy Cause, these web sites provide excellent information:
To Find and Evaluate a Charitable Nonprofit Organization as Your Worthy Cause:
NetworkforGood.org – the “Support a Cause” section of their homepage provides a list of charities for your consideration in these 8 categories: animals & environment; arts & culture; civic and community; education & research; health; human services; international; and religion.
GuideStar.org – this organization’s web site contains a free searchable database which provides comprehensive data on more than 1.5 million nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS.
Give.org – their Charity Reports are a valuable source of information on specific charities, and whether or not they meet the BBB’s (Better Business Bureau’s) Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability.
CharityNavigator.org – this group grades charities according to a 4-star rating scale, examining their financial data and how each charity actually functions in real life.
CharityWatch.org – specific charities in many different groupings are graded by the American Institute of Philanthropy.
